reneedicherri Posted July 19 Report Posted July 19 I've been in love with my brother's Datsun since it showed up on his farm in 2021. He's got too many vehicles so he's giving it to me. I'm going to name her Hot Daniel, a reference to Adventure Time. Enough typing, photos: 6 Quote
reneedicherri Posted July 19 Author Report Posted July 19 Thanks!!! I'm so stoked! Happy to look through all the awesome content here, it's great to see all the sharing . . . and everyone has some sweet looking trucks. Quote
datzenmike Posted July 20 Report Posted July 20 Virginia? That would explain the red sky. Indeed a nice truck. That was the last year for the venerable and easy to work on L20B engine. 1 Quote

It was just sunset - I'm sure I made it pop more with Lightroom too. Hot Daniel is actually up in the high desert of Oregon. I originally bought my 914 to have something to work on . . . had never envisioned this truck in my life. But I'm beyond delighted. 2 Quote
TinKanTosser Posted July 20 Report Posted July 20 Very nice truck, same era as mine but much nicer. The hood having metal vents instead of the later awkward plastic vents I have is interesting, I never knew they existed. These trucks being easy to work on removes a lot of anxiety about their age and the bucket list of things you have to do on them. You can mostly just get it running easily and drive it hard unlike a Porsche or my Triumph. 1 Quote
John knight Posted July 20 Report Posted July 20 Yeah they are quite a sturdy truck and well sort after 1 Quote

I'll follow up with closer photos once it gets to me - looking like first week of August for transpo. 2 hours ago, John knight said: Yeah they are quite a sturdy truck and well sort after For sure - I couldn't let it go to Facebook marketplace! I knew I'd never really see another one if I did. Quote
