jcruz
Hey guys. I’m having a hard time getting the rear bearing off of my 521. I just bought a hydraulic press to push the bearing out but it got to the point where the backing plate started bending. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the bearing removed? Crashtd420
Maybe describe how you doing it a little better.... You need to support the hub not the backing plate.... Then press the axle out of the hub, hub and bearing will come out together.... I have also seen some home made ways, a plate made to hold the hub with a long tube over the axle... Then the hub and bearing are pulled up... If real stubborn maybe some heat around the bearing... Don't forget to check your clearance after reassembly.. thats what the axle shims are for....
