bananahamuck
A few of us are caravanning to Aberville Wa to go to this ,, MAY 23rd , As you can see by the flyer ,it's mostly old American cars , but we have been to a few of their meets before and they are happy to see imports. If you're cheap,, You don't have to pay to park amongst everyone else, just to enter , and be judged in show. After show our group is are going to caravan around to somewheres else but loop back to i5 Not necessarily all driving Datsuns There is another event out in Shelton later this summer, but that has way less parking https://maps.app.goo.gl/e8F58mGaRHhUfZcZ6 Or not,, if you are told not to, by those that do your thinking for you. FYI i looked up "caravanning" ,, that is the correct spelling ,, who knew . . Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
"apparently" Air finger quotes ,,, "apparently',, it's memorial day weekend , i should probably watch TV more to know what day it is. oops We are still going as family road trip, and meet up with wife's high school bestie, that runs the show, but almost everyone is visiting relatives or doing Packwood swap meet, and we are also doing swap meet, but we will go there Sunday. FYI.. If you are western Wa and never went to Packwood swap meet.. Do it , it's pretty insane . It's not car junk it's junk, junk but every kinda food known to man or beast. We might be doing the Satsop meet up later that day, but those usually get broken up pretty fast because of the Honda and BMW douche bags , so we'll see anyways,, fuck you guys . . bananahamuck
Just the 5 of us caravanned over to Aberville to this shindig from Tumwater and Elma Bill brought some of his troop out . It was for charity / food drive so was good cause .. Because of holiday, turn out was kinda small , but there was actually more old geezers in their hot rods than i thought would show up . To be different , I drove our 50 Ford and wife drove our 67 Buick, as she always does, because it hauls 90% of supplies. And is nice tow rig I am always intrigued that people take 3 day weekend and go "camping" with a zillion others in packed campgrounds , when they could take a Friday or Monday off and have 3 day weekend, with way less traffic and other campers. Sorry, i just never understood the thinking. I can't prove it but this wagon went up and down .. , Then we went to Mr. Taco ,,, taco van Way the fuck before grunge ---- Back when metal ruled the world , me and the driver of the Buick roamed these Aberville streets. Just my bunch ,, white 521 is friend Steve Edited May 27 by bananahamuck 2 Quote Link to comment
