lil Hustler 620
Hello, Banzi sent a video of top dead center. How does this look based on my photos? It's hard to see but the mark on the pully is on 5. Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
I assume the crank notch on pulley is on the Zero mark on sawtooth timing plate. Most people paint it white yellow or a brite color looks like a reground cam. Hopefully you got the right lash pads ect set up. retainers .............. I assume you did the ink pen wipe check to make sure centered Edited March 14 by banzai510(hainz) 1 Quote Link to comment

lil Hustler 620
Ok I think I might have it. As far as the notch on the pully pointing at 5, does that matter or does it have to be on zero? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Each tooth is 180 Should be zero but for 50 it's fine. New alignment looks much better. 1 Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
yes thats it. I like the new photo with the red line going thru cause depends where one stands looking at the spindal it can be a optical illusion sometimes, Quote Link to comment
Draker
Pro tip, there is a dot on the spindle and a dot on the oil pump. You line them up, then install with the body of the pump in the correct orientation. That's the tricky part, but less ambiguous due to the shape. If you do this, you'll have good success getting the spindle in the correct spot the first time. Quote Link to comment
