Shit-box720
Hey so I’ve been installing my Weber DFEV I got most of the way through with no problems but I’m trying to hook up my throttle cable and I’ve got probably a good 1.5 to 2 inches of space between the end of the cable and the trunnion. I know I can bend the bracket but is there any way to pull extra cable from the cable housing just to get a couple of inches it said something like that on google. And let me know how this looks I know nothing about carbs let alone linkages this look alright? Or am I dumb Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Where is the smaller primary barrel on this Weber? Is it closer or farther from the valve cover???? The stock carburetor has the smaller primary farthest from the valve cover and why DGEV is used. This would move the throttle plats closer to the throttle cable. From AI: The primary difference between the Weber DFEV and DGEV 32/36 carburetors is the orientation of the throttle linkage and primary/secondary barrel positions, which are mirrored images of each other. 1 Quote Link to comment

The smaller primary barrel is further away from the valve cover I knew about the orientations being different I never thought about the throttle cable not reaching is there anything I can do or no?
