An owner over on the Realm got a set (Rush) if you want to check out her thread.  https://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?t=27046&start=720

I'm in a dilemma myself.  I have multiple bumpers, none perfect.  Rechrome, or replace with new?  Rechroming is more expensive right now.  But it's tempting to keep the OE parts.

rechroming is more than new.. there used to be a place in Portland..  that did reasonable chroming I'm not sure if they're still around. Unfortunately most bumpers need straightening and rust repair not just simply plating .. most chroming places won't even guarantee the Chrome on old metal..

How much do these bumpers cost?  I couldn't find any price on them.

California was closing chrome shops, and I haven't got a clue if any on them are still open.  There's one or two in San Diego, but they haul the stuff across the border and have it done in Mexico.  It's good they keep the air pollution on their side of the border..

I bought a set for my 510 wagon. eBay was selling them and still is.

So you might have some recourse with ebay and PayPal, maybe!

I got mine before all the tariff crap and not sure if tariffs apply to Vietnam or not. Usually ebay has a banner in the listing talking about the tariffs and I don’t see one for this listing.

My observations:

They are stainless steel and polished to a real nice chrome look. Being stainless they're soft and scratch easily. True chrome is harder than stainless.

The mounting brackets welded on to the bumpers are thin and flimsier then the stock ones. The welds holding them on are minuscule.
Really don’t think these bumpers would hold up well in an accident but really don’t think the stock bumpers would either.

The front bumper is an excellent fit and looks great. The factory rear bumper for the wagon seems to be narrower than the sedan rear bumper. That being said the Vietnam bumpers stick out more at the quarter panels on my wagon.

Took about 10-12 weeks after I ordered them to receive them. They were packaged very nicely and traveled without any damage to the bumpers.

I was quoted starting at $700 each for repairing and re-chroming the stock bumpers and they would give a firmed up price once they saw them. Somehow I think you could bet money they’d be a lot more once they see them. Don’t know if the bumper places are even still in business. As others have said, chroming is not environmentally friendly, especially in California.

A few of the USA vendors occasionally have bumpers but it’s hit or miss on availability. There were none I could find when I needed mine so I ordered the Vietnam ones.

Just saw this note on the ebay listing for the Vietnam bumpers.

Due to US customs policies, the buyer of this item will need to pay import fees to the shipping carrier prior to delivery. Learn more

I’ve installed these before on Andrews 69 510. They came from Futofab. I guarantee these are made by one manufacturing facility in the world which the main name is Muscle car Gt I believe. Second they are not stainless steel. They would be wayyy more if that was the case. The front bumper fits perfect (you still have to make some minor adjustments) has the correct contour. As for the rear still fits good enough (doesn’t have the correct curvature like factory)

The ones I received from Vietnam are definitely stainless. Their website states it, they scratch pretty easily and a magnet doesn’t stick to them. They are not wavy.

Futofab states theirs are chrome plated steel.

Really?! I’m intrigued. Can you take a close-up picture? I Seen stainless steel versions for the S 30 bumpers.
