1971-1973 Datsun 1200 under hood labels

 

On the core support

* Coolant information

* Color Number

 

On the underside of the hood

* Tune-up sticker

* Dyno sticker

these vary by year

 

They are stick-on information labels. And sometimes come off, or are painted over

 

Coolant information sticker

 

Tune-up specifications to ensure low emissions varies by year

 

Dyno sticker has the loading information for the wheel dyno. Varies by year

 

Not like the riveted metal Car Number Plate, like this 1971 plate

The COOLANT information label reproductions are on the market, but not to an exact match of the 1200

* Z Car Depot looks like an exact match except it says Nissan inside the hamburger logo

* Zeddsaver's is visibly different, with bold font and without the box

A lot of places make reproductions of the PAINT COLOR NUMBER sticker,

but no one get the inked-on number exactly like Nissan did

Nice find. Those are for 240Z/260Z, but some of them are the same as what Datsun 1200 used

NIHON heater decal is very specific to the Datsun 1200, as it has the Datsun part number on the sticker

Goes on the left side

 

 

27011-H1000 is the heater box (12161-30010 is i don't know what)

Glove box door tire info decal is also very specific to the Datsun 1200

Another engine compartment sticker. 

My 1200s didn't have this, I think they all came off after a few years. But Bill Money, Datsun counterman, says it is an original one for the 1200

 

I've never found a reproduction like this
