The 620 and later Datsun cars, certainly with the L20B have return lines. A secondary advantage of a return line is the fuel, slowly but steadily, is pumped through the fuel filter over and over, rather than crap building up in the tank.

Here's the flange Datzenmike generously donated. I bought an aftermarket pipe for a d21 and cut off its flange. Tried for a local oem one but no luck.

It's strange. The threads are 22mm. Way bigger than normal oxygen sensors. Im going to cap it and drill a hole for the snipers sensor.

Just need free flanges haha. Had to bore out the flange and the manifold by an 8th.

 

Yes the KA down pipe was larger than the L16 flange so I pie cut and welded it so it would fit on. 

 

It would have to be an awfully long O2 sensor to be sufficiently in the exhaust stream.  EGR??? possibly but who does EGR?
