Anybody have the correct placement measurements for fender mirrors on a 1973 1200 coupe?

Can't say for sure on the 1200, but the 510 has indentations on the upper frame rail where the mirrors go.  I had a rhd 1200 that had the "flag" fender mirrors, and I can't imagine those fitting without those indentations.

I forgot to mention that you can reach up under the fender and feel along the frame rail for the indent.  I can't remember if it was visible or not from underneath.  It's been a while.

Thanks for the reply. I will get the wheels off and check.

I just got a 1973 Datsun 1200 coupe. Looking to add bullet style fender mirrors. Searched everywhere and can't find a diagram or measurements. Any help would be appreciated.

you can see the mounting spot by looking up through the wheel well at the underside of the fender

From the Factory Diagram - 817 mm forward from door edge

Tech Wiki - Mirrors : Datsun 1200 Club

Some choose to mount them farther back on the fender

On my Tokyo-modded 1200 they were 90mm back from the factory spot (724mm from rear edge of fender)
