510 1/2 shaft orientation

Hey - which way do the factory 1/2 shafts go in? 
skinny part inboard or outboard?

i have them in backwards 🤦‍♂️

do you think that would cause a vibration at high speed (over 60mph)??

I wouldn't think so but if you find it is so, switch them back.

The BRE race cars had them in backwards to allow for a little more clearance on their severely lowered cars.

I'm thinking you keep the larger mass towards the center of the car.  I vaguely remember hearing that about the BRE cars.  

 

Just last night I started installing my Futofab latest generation rear CVs.  I'll see how they work this weekend.
