Cheap 4Runner wheels off of Marketplace. 205/45/17 tires. Have a set of Titan rims that I want to refinish and put on it soon.

This is awesome this is the route i wanna go someday...

How hard would you say it is too bag these trucks? a lot of fabrication? I also love those wheels what are they?

The good news is, 175/65R14 tires are still a common size even Walmart sells them. This is IMO the best way to lower a car, put smaller tires on it. It fits without rubbing and no suspension modifications are needed. If you then lower the vehicle like @olskool720 has done, it is a really cool old school look

My truck is on air suspension. Bags on each corner supported by two Viair compressors and a 5 gallon tank installed under the bed. I used an old school lowrider/coffin style 10-switch switch box to adjust the height.  It is still (sadly) using leaf springs and a 3 inch lowering block. The rear bags are installed on the axle, not ideal.

This is exactly what I want to do for the future when I'm ready and have some more knowledge how to bag these..

Issue me and him are running into is he bought some Ranger wheels and he said they fit no issue along with another guy on Facebook has 24-25 Bronco wheels and he said he didn't have to bore and they were a direct fit as well, and the bore size is 93.1mm for Bronco and Ranger wheels but our wheels for bore size is 100.3....

I'm about to go get tires put on these bronco wheels but how in the world are they fitting if the bore size is off... (I zoomed in on Oldskool720 wheels when he mounted them and they really look like the fit, and no spacers)

I know you GGZILLA, you'd know a thing or two im confused, what do you think?

Why don't you measure your 720 hub and let us all know

What's actually needed is a center bore big enough to go over the hub. perhaps the common saying that a 720 needs 4" bore is wrong. I think the 720 4x4 needs a 4" center bore, but maybe the 2WD only needs 92mm (i'm guessing because it is bigger than the 620 hub). And with Ranger wheels being 93.1, they will fit over the hub

I figured coming on here would be beneficial to learn and just talk about our cars when I have down time at work... apparently not. Hope this page keeps kicking. I'm not going to get on a page that when I ask a question I'm talked to like a child

For what it’s worth Datsun84 I ran some 16” first gen Escalade wheels on my 2wd hardbody. I had the tire shop machine the bore of the wheels out to fit the larger Nissan hub.

I also had 1st gen Escalade wheels on my 720 and had to do the same thing

All good man, I had a rough day at work yesterday. I enjoy coming on here and talking about these little trucks. My bad for wearing my feelings on my shirt

Im still looking for tires wondering what sizes I can get away with, OLDSKOOL has 205/40/16 on his he said and wondering what other kinda tires i can make work close to that because those are hard to find without spending a arm and a leg
