Collins
I’m refreshing the suspension on my ‘77 280Z and need advice on where to score solid deals. Goal: Quality parts for aggressive street/canyon driving, but I’m trying to avoid Techno Toy Tuning (personal preference—no drama, just exploring alternatives). Budget: $1,000–$1,800 (for shocks/springs/sways/bushings). Needs: Coilovers OR lowering springs + performance struts. Front/rear sway bars Full bushing kit (poly or OEM+). Priorities: Value > cheap (won’t risk safety or reliability). Prefer kits with strong user reviews for street comfort. US-based shipping (no AliExpress/random eBay brands). Where did you find the best price-to-performance suspension? Quote Link to comment
jbirds510
https://groundcontrolstore.com/collections/s30 The strut tube is 2" OD you can buy coil over sleeves and adjusters from eBay very reasonable the go to any racing parts supply and get 2.25" ID 225# 8" tall springs and make your own. My plasma cutting shops can cut you a pair of weld on rings for under your adjuster sleeve. you can buy shocks from just about any parts place like Napa auto. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=185 185-8-225 <--part number Edited July 6 by jbirds510 Quote Link to comment
