Hardboxesx2
So I have a 95 that I did an EGR delete on and I plugged the bung holes from the exhaust side (as I put aftermarket headers on it.) got rid of the mess that’s on the driver fender, plugged the plate for the EGR. I’m just curious on what vacuum lines I need to plug or leave unplugged. Some posts I’ve seen stated all you need is 2 lines- one for the fuel pressure regulator and the other for the brake booster but others say different.. Truck is running a bit rough and I’m curious if others have had any luck with this issue. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I ran mine for years with brake booster hose disconnected. So it isn't "needed", but it took a lot of leg pressure to stop. Brakes were much better with it connected For a rough idle, examine all the hose ends for cracks or splits and replace as necessary Quote Link to comment
Hardboxesx2
Aside from the brake booster did you take off any other lines? And will do thanks. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I didn't take off the brake booster hose. My truck came with it disconnected. When I finally hooked it up, it was so much nicer to drive My truck also wasn't EFI. But I did have vehicles with the vacuum line to the fuel regulator, so keep that. I would have that that a KA24 would have a MAP sensor vacuum hose as well? Over the years I've learned that most Nissan vacuum hoses serve a purpose, and so don't general try to "get rid of them". That's when a lot of problem start 🙂 Quote Link to comment
