Everett Memorial Day car show

a really big shoe, really big. Bigger than Greenwood? And less crowded

 

in two hours, only walked about 1/4 of the show on the streets of downtown Everett

 

First import I saw after one hour, from ZCCW, a 1971 S30 Datsun 240Z. There were more imports on the 2nd street, but I got too tired and called it a day

Nice touches on the Z, carbon fiber exterior bits, bumper shave. billet oil cap, Z-caps on the minilites

 

L24 with triple Solex carburetors

 

Cruzin' to Colby 2025

Why is it called cruzin to Colby if it's in Everette ?

 

There's no parking in Greenwood normally.. Where the hell do you park to go see that?

It's was on Colby ave, the main drag in downtown Everett

 

For Greenwood, I parked many blocks away and hoofed it in. The last time just drove to the end and asked some guys to move the street barriers, i mean I was registered for the show

I never know about cruising to Colby until after the fact.

Cruising Colby was a big thing in the late 70s and early 80s. They banned it and everyone moved to Evergreen Way until they banned cruising all together in the late 80s.

i had a coworker get pulled over for cruising because he had things on opposite ends of evergreen that he had to take care of and didn't bundle them so just drove up and down. 3 times in a half hour or something

 

but i meant the show on colby, there's no actual cruising anymore because it's now illegal

You going to Bonneville this year?

 since i have new truck that can haul copious humans and can sleep in,  i'm thinking of going and forcing female unit, and nose miners to go with ,,  but sitting on couch is so much easier.

I'm aiming for Bonneville 2026 rookie passes. Lots of work to do and $$$. Screw retirement.

You will not regret going no matter what. I will keep you posted. Not sure the Datun world cares

about a 62 Pontiac Tempest build for salt flats?
