MdsMartin
First of, the listing: Quote - very rare Single Cab version (longest truck bed) there are very few of them - year of manufacture 1981 - SD 23 engine (2.3D) - monoblock of the SD33 model (3.3TD) from Nissan Patrol - manual 5-speed gearbox - a few extra parts for the car - I have the original 14" wheels for the car - chassis frame is completely healthy - rear door with Datsun lettering preserved - original Datsun mud flaps - in the photos stood on period ALU - if necessary I can offer more types for the car by agreement - imported from Sweden - TP and license plate for the car so it can be legally registered!! - the car has been standing for a long time because there is no time left to devote to multiple projects - this is a very interesting veteran that can no longer be found in this version, let alone with TP - ideal for renovation or showCar - I can help with new parts *TP = "certificate of roadworthiness" Listing has price set at 3750$/3325€ Imported from Sweden to Czechia (info from the plate) Pics: https://imgur.com/a/XdgeSU0 +If true, the truck could be registered (for context, in Czechia, cars > 30 without both TP and license plate would have to be registered as Historic Vehicle, ie daily driving forbidden) -Obvious condition -Would have to rely on Ebay or potentially the seller for parts Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
$3750 US dollars? Seems a bit much. Pictures show body is very rough, battered and rusted, dented, broken lights. Engine missing parts. (battery, radiator) Was this put right and it's now drive-able? Those rims just won't do. Quote Link to comment

Currently just have the listing saved, haven't even contacted the seller. On my post to the Datsun subreddit, someone commented that those are apparently Riken Turbo rims, they are supposedly worth $1000. 1 Quote Link to comment
MdsMartin
I also thought that the price was too high, how much do you think would it be worth in the condition shown in the pictures? (or worse, don't know how old the pics are) Quote Link to comment
ElliotV
That is nearly a parts truck if I have ever seen one. Around here even if the wheels were supposedly worth a grand then you might get 1200-1500 US bucks for the truck. I paid 500 US for my 86 and it came with a pile of parts and some pretty nice aluminum wheels. The body and interior on that truck are in terrible shape and is nowhere near worth asking price if there are any 720s in your area. I paid 4k for my 85 4x4 and I have put a bit of money into it mechanically replacing suspension components but the body and frame are in damn good shape with the bed and cab having no dents just door, tailgate, and fenders all of which I have acquired from a parts truck I didn't pay much for and the frame has the original paint and the interior is in great shape even the dash for a NM truck. datzenmike
Obviously not for a 720, the off set is all wrong. Maybe a $1,000 new when once they were in style but no longer. I doubt this would pass a road worthiness with these on. I don't see power steering so this would be horrible to drive in town. Quote Link to comment
Thomas Perkins
I would not give anything for that.No one around here would either.Junk yard here may give you 50 bucks,if that.No 720's around here but mine. Not even a part truck. No one has them.Got to go.Gunsmoke is on. Dont know what look they were going for but they definetly got it. But hey if you have a spare cab, bed, front clip, doors, interior, a shitload of free time, you might have a 4k truck when you have 10g into it lol. Quote Link to comment

See now I can prove to everyone that my nissan addiction isn't even that bad because I technically only have 2 parts trucks and one rusted out hardbody bed full of spares since one truck I decided I am going to turn into a toy because I definitly don't have more projects than free time and money ;). ggzilla
If you love the 720 and the Riken turbos, then get it! You could get a nice one for same price in USA, but import and shipping fees would be $$$ i'm surprised certificate of roadworthiness would be granted for tires sticking out many centimeters from the body Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
I wonder if Europe has any kind of derelict vehicle registration. This truck would qualify for sure. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
when i was in germany the cars in the junkyard are 80pct better than on ratsun. in germany TUV would not allow that on the road. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Here the wheels must be covered by fender or flairs. Not that it's strictly enforced but if you're a known idiot it's an excuse for being pulled over and ticketed. Those '$1,000 rims' look lie they have been spray painted silver. Quote Link to comment
MdsMartin
Since it was mentioned a few times. The TP has stuff like model, year, VIN, color, engine. What you need to be able to drive your car here is STK (Státní technická kontrola), literally "state technical inspection". It has to be renewed every 2 years. Although I could have just said from the start that the car has its original papers.🤦♂️ Quote Link to comment
