Does anyone know where I can find a brake MC pushrod and clevis for a 71 510? I've been searching but no luck. Or if anyone knows the dimensions I can have one fabricated.

Thanks!

There are 3 different ones. See details in the comment below. But maybe all 3 fit all the different master cylinders?

I finally made a rough facsimile by cutting the head off the right size bolt and test fitting, then sending to my son who works as a gunsmith. He took some stainless stock and fabricated a push rod on the lathe at work. Fits perfectly.

I'm in the rat rod club as well, having made one with a long bolt cut to fit, then radiused the ends on the grinding wheel once it worked right.

It's the Ratsun way to 'make shit work'. Sometimes it's too expensive, too long to wait or simply NLA.

^THIS^

Half the fun and challenge of driving an old car is making shit work. Luckily a lot of the parts across Datsun and even just Japanese cars in general are reasonably interchangeable with some effort, especially if you want to upgrade to better parts. The amount of parts you can make work with a welder some understanding of the underlaying principles and a can-do attitude is astounding.
