Dats_Mandersun_408
I was going to bleed my clutch and I noticed a lot of oil everywhere, seems likes it might be coming from the top and its mainly on the passengers side. anyway I was wiping it down and I don't think this hole is supposed to be there...any advice? datzenmike
It's a drain for any water that seeps in higher up and also any oil from a failed rear main seal on the engine or failed front cover plate seal on the transmission. Unlikely it's that. The most common source of engine oil leaks is the valve cover gasket. It follows that everything higher up flows down hill. Just replace it, not expensive. Then power wash all that oily dirt off. Probably have to do this several times. Once dry you'll see places you missed. It's a process. Once clean and dry any oil leaks are obvious to find. Don't spray directly at distributor or alternator. Take cap and wires off and cover with a large baggie. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
The hole on the slave cylinder has a mate on the clutch arm. It is missing the clutch arm return spring. 2 Quote Link to comment
