Rustbuster78
I haven't been working on the 78 goon this winter at all. I'm not a fan of working in the cold. Maybe one day I will have a heated garage. I did just finish a project though. I bought an old Quincy 325 air compressor in late October. The pump needed to be rebuilt due to water getting into it and sitting like that for a period of time. I honed the cylinders, rebuilt the valves, replaced all bearings, seals, gaskets, etc. I put the pump back together and now it's sitting on my basement work bench waiting for a nice day to be bolted on and hooked up to the motor for a test run. Here are some photos. https://imgur.com/gallery/quincy-325-rebuild-kfxCjRW Quote Link to comment
iceman510
My compressor pump seized last winter. I opted to replace the whole thing, keeping it to possibly rebuild at some point. Thanks for the pictures. Is that a two-stage? Parts easy to find? Mine is a Sanborn, and they were bought out by Coleman at some point. Quote Link to comment
