Fostin510
Another question for the King Rat or whom ever want's to chime in. I have a 4 speed tranny in my 510, it has three switches near the end of the tranny by the shifter. I would assume one is the neutral safety, another is the reverse, but what is the third one? One is near the shifter, whilst the other two are next to each other but down lower near where the rear section of the tranny bolts to the main body. Also I am unsure of how to upload a pic from my pc to show you what I'm talking about. Thanks Kevin Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
All you need operational is the reverse lights. The other two switches would be for the emissions system mostly to turn the second set of points on or off to retard the ignition 6 degrees in certain gears. Most people just disconnect the relay to disable the second set of points. The very bottom switch is for the reverse lights. The switch just above that is the 3rd gear switch. The very top switch near the shifter is the neutral gear switch. Quote Link to comment
