1987 305 swapped YJ

Recommended Posts

I picked up this Chevy 305 swapped 1987 Jeep Wrangler.. It has a comp thumper cam in it, hei, headers, edlebrock carb, flow master, and aftermarket intake.. It’s not quick but it sounds super cool… got it as my fun desert cruiser for checking trap lines and going shooting with my kids, camping in the summer etc.. It only has 90,000 miles on the chassis, it’s only gonna be a easy project just trying to clean it up and get it really reliable.. so far I’ve just been going through all the wiring that you can tell was just thrown in quick to get it running, installed some slightly better looking lights on the front bumper and took the ones off the hood, and just threw some 32 x 11 1/2 tires and steel wheels on it… the only major modification I plan on doing currently is a ford 8.8 swap, I don’t want the V8 and larger tires to snap my Dana 35.
