2002jm
Could I put a set of 13x7 4x114.3 American racing Libre wheels with 215/50/13 inch tires on a 78 b210 gx? thanks Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
That's adding about one inch width to each side. Might be possible if the rim offset is correct. I'd go for something an inch narrower. Take a stock rim and put a straight edge across the back side and measure down to the WMS wheel mounting surface. The stock rim is 4.5" wide so if your number is 2.25 then the rim is zero offset. If less than 2.25 then the rim is negative offset and this pushes the rim and tire outward and may rub the inner fender. If more than 2.25 the it's positive offset and will be closer to the center of the car and may rub suspension parts. You might consider running narrower tires on the front for more room and they are easier to steer in town and when parking. Visually the narrower front tires fool the eyes and make the rear tires look wider than the are. What tires are on the stock rims? 155/??R/13 Also get a tire that has the same diameter as the stock tire so you don't throw the speedometer and performance out of whack. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dguy210
http://www.datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=Rims 1200 and B210 stock wheel fitment is basically the same. If you are running non-stock struts/brakes 13 inch wheels can be a bit of an issue for clearing the caliper. For stock it will all depend on the offset of the wheels. Stock are 30mm offset. The tire size will definitely fit but how well depends on the rim offset and width. Some of these questions have been answered before see this thread and this thread: Quote For 13 inch wheels with stock struts: The 2 bolded choices 185/70 and 175/70 are safe sizes and are the most common when I last searched (granted 2011), sizes are ordered by price for tires of that size so are out of date but should still be reasonable. The 2 choices listed in italics and strikethrough are only suitable for rear tires under special circumstances: avoid.
