DwayneOxford
Are 2WD and 4wd piston rubbers different? Any difference in early and later model 2WDs? Bought a rebuilt caliper from Rock, core's only $10 so I decided to re-rubber the old one and put on shelf. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Up to 11 '82 the 720 used the same calipers as the previous 620 then changed to larger calipers and vented rotors 2 and 4 wd. for the '83 and up. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
There are differences between 2 a 4 wheel drive caliper pistons and seals part numbers but no idea what it is. For $4 get both and see what fits. I think they are the same. Maybe the maker? 1 Quote Link to comment
Thomas Perkins
I have new ones on mine.Lifetime warranty. Also put new Rotors and seals with 4x4 boots. And new wheel studs.Everything else was replaced, pads, brake lines, master cylinder. When replacing the rotors, put new wheel studs on.4x4 is more to it than a 2wd.Nissan still sells them. Don't make sense that Rock's shipping is so much different from their different warehouses. Or why you have to put stuff in cart to see which warehouse it's in. Or why Nissan used different pistons and rubber on 2WD and 4WD. Quote Link to comment
Thomas Perkins
I Just looked up a valve cover gasket at a Nissan site. The price is 16.36 and 15.26 to ship.So shipping is high dollar now.At Rock Auto Parts, gasket is 6.42 and shipping is 5.99.Same one at Auto Zone is 19.99.7.58 cheaper plus less tax at Rock Auto Parts.Just takes longer to get.Ebay has the same one for 10.95 and free shipping. The best deal.I don't need one, just seeing who really has the best deals.
