Steering wheel removal, help need advice

I need to remove the steering wheel to rebuild/replace the blinker mechanism.

I don’t want to break the horn button area. Does anyone know how to remove it?

Push down and turn counter clockwise. If it hasn’t been off in a long time it will seem stuck but it will come off.  To get steering wheel off, it may take a puller if it hasn’t been off before.
