Mirrors wanted

I wouldn’t mind a set of factory truck mirrors like in the picture. Not looking for perfect, but also don’t want a set that look like they came off the bow of the titanic. I’ve tried last night on lunch break to post this in the “wanted”, but no luck for whatever reason. Anyone have a set there looking to sell? Can the Mods move this to “wanted” section please. I know I should, but it didn’t work for me. Thanks Pidge

I don't think factory, but may have been dealer installed. Usually back then there was only the driver's side mirror with the passenger side mirror an option. We used to call these 'West Coast' mirrors. Peruse through Amazon they have lots.

Actually they were a dealer option, part# 99990-00055.  I have an NOS "kit", hopefully all the hardware is still in it!!  The paper instructions literally disintegrated into flakes, but I was able to save the mention of the part#.   What I do NOT know, is was this kit for the 521 or the 620?  Sorry, not for sale, hopefully going on my 1972 521 flatbed!

They have "Datsun" stamped into them, they are hard to find anymore, the ones I found were in wrecking yards when one still found 521 trucks in the yards.

The 720 has dealer show room dress up parts that didn't come on the trucks from the factory, and they day Datsun or Nissan on them. Such as roll bars, light bars, bush bars and grill protectors.

I’ve seen one pair on eBay a few years back, but that’s it and those were rough looking. Thanks fellas 👍👍

It's funny to hear that they're desirable now. LOL   Back when my wife wanted these for her 521, nobody wanted them and I got a lot of negative reaction about them.  It's what she really wanted, so I got a set off of tdaaj (Ted).  Seems I picked up another set somewhere, but they don't have the upper attachment piece.

They were dealer installed.  From everything I've seen, none of the trucks shipped with mirrors on them.  

Nearly 6000 pics/vids in my photobucket, but it's been a long time since I posted a link from it. Hopefully, it will work the first time. lol  Just an old pic of her truck with the mirrors.  There are several other versions, but these are the only ones with the Datsun logo on them at the bottom.
