Front transmission case cover

Hey all, I have broken my front transmission case cover and was wondering how people have gone about getting a replacement or if anyone out there was willing to sell the part to me if they had a spare. I've been calling up wreckers for ages but none have one laying around lol

You're in the 410/411 so PL410 or RL410 engine? Help to know as most of my info is 65 and up trucks and 510/Roadster and on cars. Picture would help also.

Good question, how would I determine if mine was a PL410 or RL410 sorry?

It's broken the shaft off the front of it. I think I may be able to get it welded back on but would obviously prefer to find one that hasn't been broken.

There are PL and RL 411s so I'm assuming there are for the 410. Look behind and above the valve cover on the fire wall. Usually cars had the chassis number stamped into the metal and painted over but very legible. Failing that find the engine tag. It's screwed to the fire wall or an inner fender. It will also give the engine type and displacement. Could be J13? or R16

 

 

 

I've broken one like that trying to get that cover plate loose. They are not made for prying on I found out.

 

I do not know this transmission.
