angliagt
I need to be able to put 3 cars into a 2 car garage. It has those stupid support poles right in the middle,so I can't make that sharp corner to drive them in,so I figure that a set of dollies will do the trick. Who sells a reasonably priced set?And don't say "Harbor Freight", as I moved a MG TD for a guy.He bought a a set from HF,& a single wheel broke off of two separate dollies. This was just trying to back the car up off of the triler,& up a short driveway & into his garage. EDM620
I've used furniture dollies rated at 1000lb each with moderate success. The primary problem with these or even the ones "designed" for cars is that you are trying to convince 16 caster wheels to all turn the direction you want - it's like herding cats. If you are going to move the cars about more than once, grab some lumber and build a single dolly for each vehicle, with just 4 casters each. That you'll be able to move around. Quote Link to comment
Draker
The actual lift type dollies work good. Not super cheap though. Quote Link to comment

I recently bought a set and you are right about the harbor freight ones.... but if you're dealing with a flat garage with no cracks or anything they work good... Otherwise you're having to spend... The jack style as Draker said is probably the best option, the basic ones all seem the same as the harbor freight ones.... Quote Link to comment
fiveoneO
I know you said not to mention Harbor Freight, but I've been using their gray Pittsburg dollies for awhile now and haven't had any issues. Just make sure all the nuts and bolts are tight before you use them. I noticed on mine that not everything was tight when I pulled them out of the box. Quote Link to comment
