PsychoNaut04
Im new to this. I have an 84 nissan 720 4x4. What really sets them apart? Is the Nissan 720 a knock off copy of the Hilux or is it just as good? Are both just as reliable and bulletproof? Help me know more about this. Quote Link to comment
Pounding Rox Truck Shop
Perhaps a different prescription lens for your glasses is in order. 720 has 4 headlights, Hilux 2. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Nissan run an IFS while Toyota had a solid front axle. Independent limits tire size but better comfort on road and traction off road. Nissan had a divorced transfer case while Toyota had an integral design. Toyota had the 4x4 first in '79 followed closely in '80 for Nissan. The '80 720 had a King Cab option but took till '84 before Toyota offered an extended cab option that I assume was also available on the 4x4. Maybe Hilux is a knock off of the 720????
