Xiao_Hu
I did some measurements of my 280z seats that I pulled out of a part out for cheap... They won't fit in my 1978 510 without modifications. The seats that are in there exist but they are mouse eaten. Has anyone good ideas for seats? Vaguely considering dodge neon seats because I know they fit in a 620 pickup. Quote Link to comment
Rustbin
If I remember correctly the inner seat rail is raised about 10mm above the outer one the same as on my Honda CRX buckets but the rail spacing is different. You will probably have to come up with some kind of adapter, spacer to fit whatever seats you are able to find. Quote Link to comment
Draker
Depends on your fab capabilities. I’ve fit golf fit seats. Look at options for 720s as well. I’m partial to recaro but they are a million bucks for trash seats these days. E30 sport seats are nice too. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dat-Hooptie
I Have Miata seats in my A10. I had to do minor mods, used the factory rails and used flat stock to change the bolt pattern. This has worked well for a few years now. I did just pick up some Mini Cooper seats for my 620 and they look like an easy swap. 2 Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
They are usually totally wasted because that were in basically disposable cars ,, but Chevy Aveo seats fit good. As mentioned in seat suggestions above ,, There's no way to install without some fabrication . One of the wagons we have has a 240z seat in it ,, looks like it fit pretty decent. Weird thing is ,, i think even the 78 and 79 A10s have different drivers floor pans where seats mount. Quote Link to comment
Xiao_Hu
Yeah the seats are very different from anything I've seen. I think what I'm gonna do for now is take apart the passenger seat and transfer foam and pieces over to the other seat, and just reupholster both seats when I get the time and money for it hopefully. Rustbin
Good idea, I have done the foam swap thing many times as an upholsterer, but always patched up the cover, it keeps things affordable. I have a set of a10 seats in my shed but shipping would be stupid expensive, best to just keep watching for something good to come along. Quote Link to comment
Xiao_Hu
Yeah shipping would cost more than the seats unfortunately. I don't have a lot of reasons to go out to the West Coast of Canada either. Quote Link to comment

I'll tip my uncle to take the seats on his A10 to an upholsterer. We'll fetch it soon once we mount the tires from 4Wheelonline onto the truck and the wiring on the trailer. The seats are in bad shape. Quote Link to comment
