DwayneOxford
Losing ignition when in crank position. Wanting to get contact cleaner into it. Anybody know if it'd get in around the plastic actuator? Wondering about drilling a hole between the B & S where white mark is, as they are far apart or between I & R as they're even farther apart. Also like to know how far back to drill. Can get one at Rock for $15 if I kill it. Edited October 25, 2024 by DwayneOxford Forgot pics. Quote Link to comment
Thomas Perkins
Are you sure that is the problem? My second fuse in the fuse box comes loose and I have to bend the tabs a little bit to get a good connection, then it starts.I almost did what your fixing to do.My ac fuse use to do that, the fuse would come loose, and I would just push it in. 1 Quote Link to comment
DwayneOxford
Not positive, but turned to ign. I oft have to wiggle switch to make contact. I'll check the fuse connection. Quote Link to comment
Thomas Perkins
Must be switch. Quote Link to comment
DwayneOxford
I think I got contact cleaner by actuator and cycled several times, followed with CorrosionX. Gonna leave fuses be to try switch. Also CorrosionXed connectors and 4 way while apart. 1 Quote Link to comment
