Loud Fuel Pump

Hello, hope you all are doing well! I have noticed that my fuel pump seems abnormally loud to me. Attached is a video so if anyone could take a look at it and let me know what they think that would be much appreciated! I also want to note that it does not shut off after a few seconds with the engine not running. I know new cars will shut it off, but is this normal on a truck like this? Thank you for all your help!

Can't hear a thing. Can you hear anything in the cab? Should be a light buzz sound. I don't think it's anything to worry about. When was the last time that fuel filter was changed? They are good for 3-5 years. Change it see if quieter.

I’ll give that a go. Sometimes it seems louder than others and i took the video on a quieter day. I’ll look over the fuel system and change the filter as I'm not sure how much I trust the previous owner lol. If that doesn’t make it quieter and, but it’s not causing any issues, is it worth looking into it any further? Thanks for the help!

Unfortunately I have no clue how new this is as I just bought the truck about 3 months ago. All I know is that it has been about the same the whole time of my ownership.

Here is my thought, you are probably use to newer cars with in tank pumps...

So the sound is probably normal for an external fuel pump....
