78 b210gx light marker relay question

Anyone know if there's a difference between these relays other than brand/look/weight? My b210 has both for turn signal markers. Same connectors, same 552 12v spec, but the one with red writing is far heavier and I believe after market available at current stores. Having issues with front left turn signal stuck on. Wiring clean seemingly without ground issue, fuse good. IMG_20240927_170324156.thumb.jpg.a2c742c326b2ccd4c2505f07eb19c24c.jpgIMG_20240927_170313863.thumb.jpg.b38543cecf88637d7513b61716296cd7.jpg

If the flasher works on one side but the other doesn't, it's not the flasher unit. It works both sides.

If the left side indicator in the dash comes on, even weakly, but doesn't flash then one of the left front or back bulbs is burned out.

There are two flasher units, one for the signals and one for the 4 way emergency lights.

All flasher bulbs work, as in they light up and blink. Further investigation, the left front marker bulb does blink when the headlights are OFF as do all other markers including when hazards activated. But when the headlights are turned ON, the left front marker bulb is on constantly but does not blink when activated. All other marker bulbs work as expected with headlights on and no other marker bulbs are constantly on like the front left.

Regards to original question about the relay similarities for anyone wondering, I tested by swapping them and only difference is the aftermarket red writing heavier one operated the blinkers just a little faster than the other but both interchangeably operated the marker bulbs the same

Ahhh that's different. It works but not when the headlamps are on.

Change the bulb. I think the flasher filament may have broken and welded itself the the parking light filament.

Issue found. I didn't check bulbs first because I have the Australian style grill that I customized to have the blinkers behind the louvres in the grill and getting at the bulb means having to redo some of the customization. Anyhooooo, I forgot these were both park+blinker multifilaments until you mentioned the parking lights, so I reviewed the wiring diagram and ran em through tests. the left parking light was working as expected but the blinker filament was out, and the right parking light green-blue wire is not passing current, but the blinker wire/bulb portion is working. Just need to figure out where the green-blue wire goes out
