danielsca
Hey I am new to this forum. I have a 69 1600, however the Marine Corps decided I would be put to better use in Japan. While here I bought a Mazda 13B with a turbo. I want to put this in my car however I need some measurement from the engine bay. Any thing would help mostly I need to know the distance from the front crossmember to the firewall and between the chassis from left to right. If I am correct this motor should fit with room to spare but I don't have my car here to confirm or test fit. Thank you for any help that can be give. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Well, you bought it so you are committed anyway, so bring it home with you. As you say it'll probably fit but if not you can always sell a JDM 13B. Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
IMO roadsters are the hardest datto's to do swaps on, the steering column bar is a bitch!! I don't have measurements but I know with a welder and grinder anything is possible :D Quote Link to comment
