Stevexc
Almost finsihed the A3A's today. Need to wait for the last coat of paint to cure then clean some overspray up. *note to self- 1am masking is not a good idea* hahaha And waiting for the new hardware to arrive. These arrived!! Ive been so excited to get these! I think as they are something different to anything else I own or have ever owned! They are so cool in person! Need some work, and somehow need to find or make new stickers for the caps, still unsure how ill go about that tho ahha anddddddddd won these last night- Riverside R109/R110 (lots of conflicting info on them labelling them as both :S ) 1 Quote Link to comment
Swedishcadillac
WOO! Won one of the 2 pairs! 14x7 +4 Superstars 05s! =) Slowly trying to get a collection of the full range of superstars so pretty happy to have won these! Other auction was some really rare 16x7+5 Hoshino G5s! Unfortunately didnt get those, but 1 out of 2 isnt too bad =) Ha, you have great taste! I bid on these! Would have just been to have around so I didn't go too high, but a sweet set! Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
I just want to know where I can get undrilled barrel blanks. Most people dont form their own barrels, so who does it? I am a machinist, I dont need them drilled and sized, just a blank. Araya wants $1500, which for what they will do is totally worth it, cause thats cutting the weld, restoring, making new barrels, re-welding, yatta yatta. But mine are 3 piece and I just need two outer barrel so I can turn my two 15x6.5s into a 15x8 and then have a set of staggered 15x7 and 15x8 mesh. 1 Quote Link to comment

Stevexc
Ha, you have great taste! I bid on these! Would have just been to have around so I didn't go too high, but a sweet set! Haha thanks :P you do too then! Im trying to get at least a pair (a set would be better) of every generation of Superstars, 2 down 7 to go! haha Don't like my luck finding some of them though. But hopefully in time ill get lucky and find them. The reverse mesh I posted earlier apparently ended up being 1 x 14" and 1 x 15", or so the seller is claiming, I think he just doesn't wanna sell them as cheap as I won them so said that to cancel the sale.. but anyways I won some 14x8 +-0 Star Sharks last night, so that makes up for it haha =) Quote Link to comment

captaingamez
I have found wheel halves for all sizes 15" and up. I will keep you guys updated once they are available. Currently they are not out yet. The wheel craze for smaller wheels is going nuts right now. Wheel companies have noticed and my manufacturer cant keep his inbox clear. I can tell you guys that within the next 6 months you will see 15" and 16" rim halves become available. You guys can check out AMCrimhalves.com for current inventory 17" and up. But keep watching that site. They will be available, the tooling is being made right now. It took me months to find this out. After doing the smaller rim halves, they are planning on making step up lips as well, 15 to 16 or 17 for example. I dont work for these guys, but thought you all might be interested to know since there has been talk of 3 piece wheel building lately. Quote Link to comment

Stevexc
Haven't bought much lately so figured Id post these up- A pair of 14x7.5 +-0 Enkie Apache' II's I started today. Still need to finish painting but my air brush decided it wanted to stuff up :S Managed to get one coat down though. Went satin black to make the polished sections on the wheels pop a bit more, and I personally prefer it over gloss black. Hopefully get down and get a new air brush tomorrow to finish them, then can give them their final polish and install new hardware =) Can't remember if I posted these yet- But they're going to a mate for his ke70. Quiet a good fit for it too! and heres a shot of the wheels I have in progress at the moment haha 2 Quote Link to comment

RandyWanger
Tosco: SSR MK3: Also have some SSR MK1's which I'll part out: No idea what the ones on the right are. In the past I've had tons of wheels, Loved the SSR Type C in gold on my FD3s race car and the Work Emotion CR Kai on the FD3S drift car. 2 Quote Link to comment
thumpgun
I was wondering what my wheels were. So I pulled one to check the brand. And it turns out it's a Shelby wheel. They're 14X6. I had a set of 13" Shelby mesh style wheels before on a SA RX-7 but they were a flat mesh style. I found a couple of photo's online but no real info. Saw one photo that dated the wheels as 1977. INDY510
I have a pair of SSR reverse mesh (type A) and I found another pair of reverse mesh (type B ) what is the difference in lip size? ... does 'type A' have a bigger lip? .. or does 'type A' have a thicker disk? I have 15x6.5 +8 type A's .. and I found 15x7 +13 type B's .. but I don't want the rear rims to have smaller lips Quote Link to comment
