Sometimes you cant look at it that way,it may cost you more to replace what youve already got and besides when you do it yourself you know what "you" have put into it and not someone else,to me it looks like a diamond in the rough..... i say keep it youve got support here!!!!

It looks like the whole car needs to be taken down to metal. I say get some DP and get to work, with an air compressor that big you should have it knocked out in no time! Take a frig magnet to all your buddies cars, I bet all of them are full of putty.

but for someone who hasnt done body work, couldnt i botch it real bad?

 

anyhow I think im going to do the rest of the car first.

You can't botch up bondo.

I'd start with the worst section first...(it's hard to make it much worse so your already ahead)

 

Take your time with a hammer and dolly and use you hands alot to check the surface..

 

It should clean up nice with some work and a little bondo
