So i have been seeing all these pictures of peoples disk brake conversions... on dimes and everything else... Why are you guys scrapping the dust-shields/backing plates on them? just for ascetics? I powdercoated mine and put them on! im going to be different and keep the crap off my DD brakes :fu::fu::fu: Okay really i want to know why nobody uses them

I have not worked on the brakes on my 720 yet or my other. They already had disk on the front but on my chevy i left them off so the mud would get out of the rotors faster once you get out of a mud hole. Any other truck was just because of forgetfulness or lazyness.
