Soundline
Honestly it’s been a great work truck. Doing a full tune up on it made my life quite a bit easier until my fuel pump took a shit. That was fun… but she’s back on the road again. It’s always fun to drive around though. 1 Quote Link to comment
Soundline
So… I decided to make it the most annoying truck in the neighborhood. Step 1, Flowmaster FX dual exhaust and a Jet Performance Stage 1 chip. The OBD-1 classic. I decided that’s not nearly annoying enough though. Quote Link to comment
Soundline
Which means I gotta ensure longevity. I hit the engine bay and the front end with a healthy coating of CRC brake cleaner, wire brush, rust oleum rust converter and a dash of my old friend 3M undercoating. Sometimes you gotta clean things up to figure out what’s leaking. Spoiler alert, it’s probably everything. Quote Link to comment
Soundline
However all of us know the only way to really ruffle feathers is… letting everyone know your favorite band. Nothing says you’re coming like “Photograph” by Nickleback at 10/10. I installed a cheap Pioneer 500W amp, Rockford Fosgate R2-D2 10”. It’s a single cab, so anything over a 10 can be really over powering. Especially with the 200W of midrange outta four Rockford Fosgate 5.25”. Lotta sound outta a small package. Is it great? Nope. But I have under $400 in the system. Just make sure you have a fuse close to the battery. Fires are not for the engine bay. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
