bottomwatcher
I guess hacking out the inner fenderwells is one way to do it. I guess eliminating power steering and maybe it's there but I can't see a brake booster that must be a pleasure to drive. Edited January 6, 2023 by bottomwatcher Misspelling Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Simply put.... they don't fit, you have to make them fit. Hard to see but the firewall is cut to fit the distributor... good by heater. I wonder if the wipers are gone also. Those front pulleys could have been left V belt and the engine moved forward some. I looked at a 305 into my 620 and there is no way it fits. I imagine the 720 is the same, either you cut the firewall and loose the heater or the radiator goes in the bed. Also the 350 is a boat anchor at about twice the Z24's weight and then there's the TH 350 on top of that. Bet it sounds great at full song. We had a member years ago with a 620 327. Stoffregen Motorsports
He probably had dreams of running a blower, hence the toothed pulleys. I do love swaps, but I also like a solution to cutting. Randomly cutting stuff to make it fit is cool for a toy car. Something you can blast around in and maybe race occasionally, or run around the motorcross track on your property, but owning this kind of vehicle gets old quick. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Yup and the Astra too. Thing is, they fit with Monza engine mounts. V8s are why there are any Vegas still on the road at all. Quote Link to comment

ShutterMeShort
General rule is you can make anything fit in anything. How much time, money, and functionality you want to sacrifice is the question 2 Quote Link to comment
