I did that with my coilovers... I'm using bearing ends and they don't have any seals around the outside.... 5/8 hose fit perfectly around.. And yes a clean square cut was tricky... Good idea might be to place a dowel in the hose before cutting... Find a way to spin it and keep your cutoff blade still.... 3 Quote Link to comment

Put a dowel (or pvc pipe) in it, wrap it with masking tape, cut on a miter saw Edited December 7, 2022 by thisismatt 2 Quote Link to comment
Socalman
I received the Moss kit. Worked out. A little bit of a pain but I’ll take it. Quote Link to comment
Socalman
Received and installed Moss’s kit. Worked out decent, a little bit of a pain. But I’ll take it. 4 Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
Nice. The inners look like they work ok. The large nuts on either side should tighten up metal on metal and not need any seal over the mating area. 1 Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
Score for the Datsun community. Now let's wait and see how the MOSS rubber holds up. I give it two years. 1 Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
It's a little late now, but I would have advised you to smear a bit of grease on the surfaces where the seals contact metal, so the boots don't stick and tear when the suspension moves. This is especially important when parts have new paint on them. You could have also deburred the control arm clevis to remove and sharp edges which could cut the seals. Quote Link to comment
