1960 - 222 parts

Howdy,

I have recently acquired another 1960 222 truck and I am in search of some parts.  My first one had almost everything I needed, but this one has quite a bit more missing from it.  How best shall I post what I am looking for and in which forum?  320, 521, ???

The truck has everything original from what I can tell and the only non-original piece I see is the engine which is an MG 1500.  Even the manifolds, carb and transmission are OEM pieces bolted up to this engine.

Warm regards

For starters I am in search of:

Steering wheel

Bench seat

Radiator

Right passenger side trim (front right fender only)

Rear bumpers

Front turn signal bezels/lenses

1 - headlamp bezel

2 - 14" wheels...either 2 with hubcap pegs or 2 without pegs

2 - "Datsun 1200" badges that go on the fenders

2 - Wiper arms

Fuel pump for an MG 1500 engine or a rebuild kit

I am sure I am missing a few more items, but this is what I see missing so far.

Regards!

Roman, I hear crickets.

How many 222s do you think exist in North America? I bet three...

BTW - did you see that OLD Datsun that was for sale a year or so ago? I think it was from the late '30s. Can you imagine trying to restore some rare derelict like that? Oh wait, you have a 222, so yes, you can imagine!

Good luck dude!

Not sure why I never saw this response pop up.  I have never been very smart in that I don't research vehicles that would be easy to find parts and simply buy a truck when I dig the way it looks and go from there.  It's like jumping off a cliff and building your wings as you go.
