The two side pieces are pretty much self explanitory (sp). The two end pieces, one is bigger than the other, make sure they go in the right spot.

I will usually use an RTV sealer on the pan surface and block surface...don't over do it.

Rounded pieces are definitely not obviously different. They seem the same in size. And yeah, my trouble is getting them to stay in place when I try to get the pan back on. It's not going into place smoothly and I have to force it or use a mallet to get it back. I guess the rtv sealer will help hold then in place? This is my first time swapping an engine and I'm having to do it without any help or advice. I had to give up on replacing the rear main seal cause I couldn't find out where it went. Idk even know what it is. Just heard I should replace that too. Lol. Thanks for the advice. ✌️
