H-BRATSON
Hey guys! been working on my datsun for a bit. pulled dash out. clock was inop, gauge cluster didn't light up, and blinkers as well as cigarette lighter don't work. I don't know who got their hands on this thing before me but they shouldn't have! Here's my dilemma: Gauge cluster is hooked up, however I have the factory clock. missing the clock harness except for the two wires coming out of it. my concern is that looking in the service manual for body electrical, it shows there should be prongs for wires on the multi cluster that come off of the clock. I've built a diagram for the clock but left the wires that go to the cluster off. has anybody retrofitted a clock into an older model? I am basically building the harness from scratch in some spots including the entire clock harness with bulbs. ANY AND ALL POINTERS ARE VERY APPRECIATED THANK YOU! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The harness and plug for the tach and the clock are the same. I listed the wires and color codes and what they do in another post.... Now you have two posts about the same thing as this with possible input to both by people that may not be aware of the other, asking questions and offering opinions that have already been answered. It leads to confusion. If a subject is the same or similar but perhaps heading in a new direction you can change the title in the first post to reflect this. 1 Quote Link to comment
