Max210
Mine works, just a New Clear one would be Super Cool! Let me know....1974 through 1978 I believe.... Where did ya get yours when it broke? Maybe someone has a windshield in their ware-house somewhere? Is there a vintage windshield supplier out there somewhere USA??? Maybe Nevada-ish? Thanks Cheers. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Broken or just scratched and hazy? Quote Link to comment
Max210
Just scratched up bad. I tried Cerium oxide polish, spent hours on it, and made it much better. But I still have scratches, and a cpl minor chips, a new windshield still,...would be Super Cool! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Cerium oxide is about 35,000 grit. Maybe something more aggressive to start. I tried some of that on some chipped and scratched BMW projectors. It was working but it was just too fine a compound. Quote Link to comment
Max210
I found a new 610 windshield fo-sale messing around on the phone. They look similar, though I am usually never that lucky.... I am wondering if you ever herd of such a thing? A 610 windshield fitting into a b210 hole? wadda-ya-say Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
steel wool is pretty good at cleaning up glass. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I've done that before Steve. It takes everything stuck to the glass right off. Won't polish scratches away though. Quote Link to comment
Max210
<size matters><The 610 glass will be larger that the B210> Well thanks for knowing! Saves the shame of a haphazardly idiotic and disappointing purchase, just to find out I have size issues along with the rest. Cheers Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Eastwood.com sells a complete glass polishing kit, made specifically to polish out scratches on vintage glass. Might be worth looking in to. Quote Link to comment
