Diagnosing issue(s) in the rear

Sorry for the vague title but I have no clue how else to word it.

To describe the issue: The rear of the truck tends to rattle and shake somewhat violently when making sharp turns. It doesn't sound like grinding, but it definitely does not sound right. Feels like it could be a few things but I don't know how to diagnose any of them. Could be the tops of the tires rubbing against the wheel wells of the bed (the truck is lowered in a very jank way), could just be the result of the diff being welded (will be checking for that on Monday), or could be something that I have absolutely no knowledge about.

It is having another issue that I am starting to suspect that is related to the issues mentioned above: at seemingly random intervals, it gets "stuck" on flat ground, as if something is locked up. The engine is definitely going under load when I let the clutch out, but the truck doesn't start moving, as if something in the driveline is just stuck, whether that be the driveshaft, the diff, or the axles.

I am hoping to avoid taking it to a shop for at least diagnosis, because I wish to learn how to handle all of these issues.

I am also able to take pictures, just none from directly underneath until Monday, the 5th, because I do not have stands to lift the vehicle up until then.

In town shuddering on turns? it's the welded diff.

Jamming? it's the welded diff. One of these days it'll jam at speed.

What I would do is find a replacement H-190 in the same ratio. The ratio is on the engine tag under the passenger side hood hinge on the inner fender. Bottom right hand corner. HF 35.... 3.545, HF37.... 3.70, HF 38... 3.889, HF 41.... 4.11 probably one of these. Welding a differential is insanely stupid and dangerous. Get a stock open diff and you'll save enough on tires to pay for it.

Yeah, I didn't weld it and the guy I bought it from swears up and down that it's not welded; but the more I describe the issues I have been having with it, the more it sounds like the diff was welded. I appreciate the input and the potential solution!

As mentioned lift the wheels off the ground and place in any gear. Turn one wheel the other should turn in the opposite direction. If welded you won't be able to turn it.

Have you checked the oil level????
