Fake Weber Sucker Posted April 3, 2021 Report Share Posted April 3, 2021 Is Datsunaholic still alive? He is the only guy to mention weberpartsdirect Weber 34DGEC carb by name, and that was over 10 years ago. I bought one back in 2009 and never had a problem until recently. The Electric Choke unit fell apart. I purchased a typical Weber 57804.333 to replace it, but it does not match my original EC at all. No matter where partsdirect sourced their fake Weber, that EC unit must have been standard hardware for some carb. Does anybody, especially Dastunaholic know the true identity of the part, so that I can order one that fits the Fake??? Thanks for any leads. 2 Quote Link to comment
