Clean and Lube combo switch Part 2

This side of the switch is where you are apt to lose parts. I would open it over a towel and maybe inside a shoebox to catch any parts that might

pop out when you open it - like the steel ball that I lost. Again, clean the exposed contacts, rough them up with sandpaper until they are shiny and lube any areas that are exposed to friction.

While you are at it, it's a good time to clean the horn ring on the steering wheel and add a thin film of dielectric grease as well as roughing up the contact for the horn on the combo switch.
