Radio Schematic?

Hello out there.

I picked up a stock radio (with chrome Bezel!) a while back and have started fixing it up.  The unit powers on just fine.  But, there is a switch on the bottom of the unit that needs to be rewired.  Anyone got a schematic that can assist in this endeavor?  Or, in the absence of a schematic, a couple of clear photos?  The switch has to do with the input signal and without it wired, does not have reception/signal.

Thanks for the help!

Note the Model Number.  And, the switch in question, which I don't even know what it does, is on the right.

Schematics and/or photos of the completed connections would be greatly helpful.  Thanks Ratsun.

It seems that switch is usually taped over and should be a grounding polarity switch + or - ground

I found the schematic located at https://elektrotanya.com/hitachi_tm-701-ba_all_transistor_auto_radio_1969_sm.pdf/download.html#dl

be careful what you click on if you go there I got several warnings

Thanks Ooph!  I tried to use the link you posted and my antivirus software said Nope!  Couldn't navigate to the info.

Still on the lookout for anyone who might have a 521 radio laying around.  Crack it open and take a few pictures.  I'll do the same in this discussion thread as soon as I get it up and running again.

Thanks in advance.
