EZee
Hello everyone! I’m a bit stumped, but I’m sure someone out there knows and has probably answered this before. So there is a switch behind my Gas pedal very similar to a brake switch. There is a small metal tab on my pedal rod that depresses the switch tip when my foot is off the gas. Can anyone tell me what the heck it is and what it does. Thank you in advance. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It's part of the emissions control that allows the second set of points (retard set) to be used any time the gas pedal is depressed or not at idle. Only used on the '72 model year 521 that would be build dates from June '71 on.... Quote Link to comment
