Have you had the distributor out? It may be in wrong and out a tooth requiring the distributor to be turned that far to compensate. I think there are 10 teeth so 36 degrees per tooth??? banzai510(hainz) Posted November 10, 2020 Report Share Posted November 10, 2020 maybe your reading the crank marks from the wrong side???????????? 30 is a bit too far off. put the motor on TDC and look where your rotor points in relation to number 1 plug wire spot on distributor cap.
