Not a ton of updates but I am making progress lol trying to get all the body work done and get it into primer. Then I can put it back together and get it to the dyno.

Actually sprayed out good being done in the dark 😂 that's the bulk of the body work done and in primer. Just doing some touch up spots on body work and the hatch/doors left.

Still plugging away.

Scored a cleaner set of doors and some bumpers locally.

Waaaay better than my rust and bog filled doors.

Also revamping the fuel system to work better with the MS, got some 630cc EV14 injectors, a new rail, aeromotive fpr and a new 225 pump coming.

What made you change to these from the ones you already had? Just the higher flow rate?

Higher rate so using less of the duty cycle but mostly they will jive better with tuning on the megasquirt. Have to change the rail for them and also upgrading the pump and FPR to some more consistent performing pieces.

Slowly making progress. It's been over 110f every day so only have small windows to do work.

Got the new door strait and primed and got all the new fuel system stuff in.

But the brackets for the rail are for a stock manifold and mine is totally shaved so need to make some brackets.

got the doors jambed today but ran out of blocking paper so I didn't get the outsides painted today like I had hoped.

but I did get a bunch of the rubbers in. both 1/4 windows rebuilt, hatch rubber in and the door frame rubber in.

This makes me miss my old 240! Fun times with the engine swap, I still watch the video you made and makes me smile.

Looks good and a decent one to start. Keep it up, the value of these things will keep going up especially with the new Retro Z.
