datzenmike Posted October 6, 2020 Report Share Posted October 6, 2020 All Z24 heads are the same. Squarish intake ports with rounded corners. Z20 and Z22 are round intake ports usually with injector notches. The Z20 (car) and Z22 (car and truck) heads will also fit the Z24. The stamped steel valve covers are also the same for the Z24 though the earlier cast Z20 and Z22 valve covers will have the same bolt pattern and fit using longer bolts.. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted October 6, 2020 Report Share Posted October 6, 2020 Don't know them very well but will have 2 plugs per cylinder and squarish intake ports with rounded corners. These z series heads are upside down. Top is Z24, below it is a Z20/22. The Z24 does not have the opening at the front right side for a mechanical fuel pump like the Z20/22 which often have a block off plate covering it. Quote Link to comment
